Rules and conditions of getting exchange rates in xml-format.
Exchange rates are updated ONCE a day.
- In order to successfully complete the download of exchange rates file it is recommended that your application would download the file between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
- It is recommended that your application would transfer the successfully downloaded file (for one exact date) into your local database to which the further access of your applications and modules will be organized. If the download attempt failed due to the technical reasons, please set your application so that the recurring query would be performed no more often than once in 10-15 minutes.
- Otherwise multiple attempts to download a file for one date can be analyzed and determined as aggressive. The IP-address the aggressive download has been made from can be put on the ban list and you would no longer have the access to the information from our site. (HTTP Status Code 403)
- It is not recommended to put your applications on the same server or site as NBM site dependant module with exchange rates. Frequent requests from that resource can be regarded as aggressive and can lead to putting your resource IP-address on the ban list. (HTTP Status Code 403).
- In order to successfully complete download, your application should mandatory return the correct “User-Agent” header. (Otherwise you get HTTP Status Code 400).
- We recommend that your application would automatically process HTTP Status Code 200, 400, 403, 404, 500 and 504, that can prevent the negative situations described above.
- Server IP-address can be excluded from the ban list on your request and in case if your application works correctly considering all the conditions above.
