European Female Chess Championship
In compliance with Law no. 548 –XIII dated July 21, 1995 on the National Bank of Moldova, the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova and of the National Bank of Moldova “On the minting and issuing of jubilee and commemorative coins” no.262 dated March 9, 2005 and according to the Decision of the Council of Administration of the National Bank of Moldova no. 166 dated May 30, 2005, the National Bank of Moldova issued, on June 6, 2005, the commemorative coin “European Female Chess Championship”, as legal tender and for numismatic purpose.
A circular border stands out on the edge of both the obverse and the reverse.
Turning the coin against the vertical axis at an angle of 180 degrees sets the image on the obverse and the reverse of the coin.
